Rules & Regulations
These regulations are for your safety as well as others.

To rent a firearm you must be a gun owner or in a party of two or more.​

To purchase rifle and shotgun ammunition in the State of California you must be 18 years of age or older.

To purchase handgun ammunition, you must be 21 years of age or older.

All personal firearms must be inspected at the counter prior to admission to the range.

The following firearms are not allowed to be used in our range: bullpup shotguns, pistol grip shotguns, AR pistols, automatic firearms, .22's, .25 ACP, .32 ACP and non California compliant firearms.

If you have CCW, (Concealed Carry Weapon License) please have your firearm unloaded in a gun case when inside our lobby.

No outside ammo allowed. All ammo must be purchased from The Los Angeles Gun Club and used the same day of purchase inside the range.

No black powder firearms, it can cause fires.

You must be in a sober state of mind. Individuals under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and/or illicit drugs will be asked to leave the premises. We have the right to refuse service to anyone we perceive to be under the influence. We ask our customers to take this seriously. This is a preventative measure we take to protect the safety of our staff, other clients and yourself. Remember, you can be a danger to yourself and others in a non-sober state of mind. Don't be that person. You are dealing with REAL LIVE Firearms.

Valid government issued identification (ex. driver's license, passport) is required to enter the range. Photocopies are not accepted.

Persons under 18 must be accompanied by someone 21 and over at all times.

Everyone must wear eye and hearing protection while inside the range.

While in the range: No smoking, No eating, No drinking. Lobby is fine for food and drink.

No holstered weapons or quick draw shooting allowed.

No more than two people in a booth without range officer approval.

Load and unload weapons inside of the booth only.

Never point a firearm at anyone! Always have your firearms pointed in a safe direction.

Do not shoot at the target carrier or anywhere else besides the paper target. This may cause bullet fragments to come back and hit you and the people around you with enough force to cause injury or blindness. Only aim at paper target.

Treat every firearm as if it were loaded.

Never pass your firearms to another person until the cylinder or action is open and you have visually checked that it is unloaded.

Never bring a loaded weapon out of the range! If your gun malfunctions, lay it in the booth facing down range and notify the range officer.

No rapid fire allowed. One shot every one second maximum.

Rental guns must be used only with our ammo for insurance reasons.

The red line at 21 feet is the minimum target distance. Do not place target in front of the red line.

You cannot take out any brass from the range. No exceptions. Reloaders, brass keepers, and brass thieves are not welcome to our facility.

No pregnant women allowed inside the range. The noise will damage the fetus.

NRA regulation targets only.

Please listen to the range officers on duty. They are there for your safety and to help you.

If any of the rules above are violated, we may ask you to leave and pay range fees.
